I have a 2006 honda rancher full time 4x4 I just completely did a top end rebuild and it was bored 40 over! And new clutches! The next thing I have to fix is the front cv axles! It has a hi lifter lift on it but I'm only turning 25 in vampires! Should I take the lift off for better handling or leave it on? And also what's the best cv axles to buy! The front right pops really bad the guy I got it from abused the bike bad but the motor and everything is finally up to par! The inside cup is rounded out so bad it actually rolled the cup over the slip ring so I can't just tear it apart and clean and re grease it! Just needing any info I can from people who have messed with them! I do ride in mud but i don't mud bog! I just trail ride and use it for hunting but I live in south la so mud is a constant!

Hey man if your not running big tires I would take the lift off. It makes the bike top heavy. My last cv axles I bought was STI axles they are cheap and I never had a issue!

Get rid of the lift! On my 350 I cannot lift any without binding CV joints! I am all stock and slinging 28" Outlaws like no tomorrow! WOOOOO!!!!!! Rancher Power! You can fit 26-27" tires stock without doing what I did.
